By using this Platform, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:

Platform and Contents

  1. This Platform is operated by Livo Cabs. Throughout the Platform, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Livo Cabs. Livo Cabs provides this Platform, including all information, tools, and services available, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices outlined here.
  2. By visiting our Platform, you engage in our “Terms of Use” and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, including any additional terms, conditions, or policies referenced herein or available via hyperlink. These Terms of Use apply to all users, including but not limited to browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and content contributors.
  3. Please review these Terms of Use carefully before accessing or using the Platform. By accessing or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with all the terms and conditions, you may not access the Platform or use any services. If these Terms of Use are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these terms.

Account Creation and Registration

  • To complete any transaction or purchase on the Platform, you must first create an account by registering.
  • We reserve the right to reject or terminate any registration without providing a reason.
  • You can also make bookings via phone or without registering on the Platform, by simply providing your contact details to our customer care. The terms and conditions will still apply in these cases.
  • The Platform is only available to individuals who are legally capable of entering into binding agreements. If you are underage or legally incapable of forming a contract, you may not use the Platform unless you are acting under the guidance of someone legally entitled to contract.
  • If you are not legally entitled to contract, you should not register for or use the Platform. We reserve the right to terminate your membership or deny you access if you violate any terms or policies.
  • If we detect the use of an invalid email address, we may ask users to re-verify their account details.
  • To register, you must provide personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
  • When logging in, you will need to enter your registered mobile number, email address, and a one-time password sent to your mobile. Alternatively, you can log in using credentials from third-party sites like Google or Facebook, subject to the terms and conditions of those sites.
  • We are not responsible for any third-party sites and will not be liable for any losses or damages arising from their use.
  • You will receive administrative and promotional emails. You can opt-out of promotional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link provided in the emails.
  • Registration is a one-time process, and you can log in anytime using the same credentials.
  • Membership is free, but certain premium services may incur a fee. Any changes to the fee policy will be posted on the Platform and will take effect immediately.

Booking Process

  • Once you complete an online booking with Livo Cabs, a booking ID number will be sent to you via email and SMS.
  • To use our car rental services, you must present the booking ID. If you fail to do so, the driver may refuse the service without liability to us.
  • Presenting your booking ID indicates your acceptance of all terms and conditions listed here.
  • The distance for the journey will be calculated based on your pickup location. The vehicle will be driven according to the local transport authority’s regulations. If you instruct the driver to exceed the speed limit, you will be fully responsible for the consequences.
  • You are required to pay for any additional charges such as parking, tolls, state taxes, entry fees, or other costs incurred during the ride.
  • The distance between two locations provided on the website is approximate; the actual distance may vary depending on the exact locations.
  • Car amenities depend on the type of booking you make. For example, the air conditioner may not work on hilly routes or when the vehicle is stationary. Please refrain from asking the driver to turn on the air conditioning in such cases.
  • Discounts are only applicable to the base fare, not on additional charges like tolls, taxes, extra kilometers, driver allowance, parking fees, or night charges unless specifically mentioned.
  • The availability of the vehicle is subject to change. If the vehicle you booked is unavailable on the travel date, we will offer an equivalent vehicle in the same category.
  • You can modify your booking up to 10 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Changes cannot be made within 10 hours of the pickup time.
  • No refunds will be issued for a “no-show” if you fail to inform us of changes to your schedule 10 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time. You can request amendments by contacting our support team at 98227 82828 and providing the booking ID.
  • If the pickup is delayed beyond 15 minutes, you will be responsible for waiting charges.
  • Additional charges may apply for extra distance traveled, unaccounted stops, or extra hours, if applicable.
  • All bookings are on a calendar day basis (from midnight 12:00 AM to midnight 12:00 AM).
  • Outstation bookings (one-way, round trip, or multicity) are not valid for local travel. For example, if you book a trip from Chennai to Bangalore and back, you cannot use remaining kilometers for local travel within Chennai. However, you can use remaining kilometers for travel to other cities outside Chennai for an additional charge.
  • You may modify your booking type (e.g., from one-way to round trip or multicity) during travel by contacting the support team with the booking ID and the reason for the change. Approval of the change is at the discretion of the support team.
  • If your amendment request is approved, you must pay any additional charges directly to the driver in cash for the change to be implemented.
  • You are responsible for all extra charges, including driver allowance, tolls, taxes, extra kilometers, parking fees, night charges, and any other applicable charges as mentioned at the time of booking.

Updates and Changes

We may add new features or tools to our platform, and these additions will also be subject to these Terms of Use.

We reserve the right to revise or update these terms at any time. Please check our platform regularly for the most recent version. Your continued use of the platform indicates your agreement to any modifications.

User Conduct and Content Guidelines

To ensure a positive and safe online experience for all users, we ask that you abide by the following guidelines:

Illegal and Harmful Activities:

  • No Illegal Use: You may not use our services for any unlawful purpose.
  • No Malicious Code: Please refrain from transmitting harmful software like viruses or worms.
  • Respectful Content: Avoid posting any content that is offensive, threatening, or violates copyright laws. This includes defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or profane material.

Platform Policies and Terms:

  • User-Generated Content: We reserve the right to remove or edit any content that breaches our guidelines or applicable laws.
  • Service Provision: We may refuse service to anyone at our discretion.
  • Service Restrictions: You may not misuse our services, including unauthorized copying or exploitation.
  • Historical Information: Past information provided on our platform is for reference only and may not be up-to-date.
  • Price and Service Changes: We may adjust prices or discontinue services without prior notice.

By using our services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

Prohibited Activities

In addition to the general terms of service, you agree not to use our platform for the following:

  • Illegal Activities: Engaging in any unlawful or harmful behavior.
  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Violating copyright or other intellectual property rights.
  • Harassment and Discrimination: Posting abusive, hateful, or discriminatory content.
  • Misinformation: Spreading false or misleading information.
  • Malicious Acts: Introducing malware or disrupting the platform’s functionality.
  • Privacy Violations: Collecting or tracking personal information without consent.
  • Spam and Hacking: Engaging in spam, phishing, or hacking attempts.
  • Inappropriate Content: Posting obscene or immoral content.
  • Security Breaches: Bypassing security measures or interfering with the platform’s operations.

Cancellation and Refund Guidelines

  1. If you cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up, a 15% cancellation fee will apply, and the remainder will be refunded.
  2. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time are non-refundable.
  3. Refunds will be processed through an online transfer to your bank account. Cash refunds are not available.
  4. Bookings canceled during peak season or weekends may result in a full forfeiture of the advance payment.
  5. If you are eligible for a refund as per our cancellation policy, the amount will be credited back to your account within 15-20 working days.
